Sterling Noon Rotary, Morrison Rotary, Impact Students, the United Way and several volunteers packed 4,200 lunches for the Feed My Children program in Whiteside County on July 2. A well oiled machine this group was as they completed the task in under 2 hours. Each table was set up with 5 different items to be added to the lunch sacks. 4 Lunch sacks were then added to a large Menards bag so each child would have 4 meals for the week. Items included crustables, instant macaroni and cheese, squeezable juice or fruit, granola bars, and many other items.
