Morrison Rotary welcomed to their April 24th meeting Heather Elfline, daughter of Shari and Alan Elfline, and Alex Weeks, son of Karen Davis and Marty Weeks.

Heather has been active in school plays, band and choir all four years.  She participated in All State and attended IMEA through her high school years.  She is active in her church youth group and is an assistant minister, played with the Quad City Youth Philharmonic, Sauk Valley Community College band and the Clinton Symphony.  She enjoys playing flute and singing.  After graduation she plans to attend Illinois State University and major in Hospice Music Therapy.  Her ideal job after school would be to work with disabled children to help them function better in their lives.

Alex Weeks has spent the four years in high school playing football and basketball.  He also was a member of the student council and the key club.  He participates in FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), is a daycare volunteer tutor, and volunteers at White Oaks Therapeutical barn working with handicap kids.  In his spare time he enjoys golfing, landscaping and canoeing.  He plans to attend Bismarck State College to study Nuclear Power Technology and hopes to have a career at a Nuclear Power Plant.
