The Morrison Rotary club had a program featuring Renata Young from the Sauk Valley College Adult Literacy Program. She noted the program has been offered for 49 years at Sauk! Among other things they offer ESL programs and assist people with school supplies, study guides, lesson plans and tools necessary to help individuals become US Citizens. Each participant is matched with a volunteer to assist them with language skills and other life skills. This year they have helped 3 immigrants become US Citizens! Thank you Renata and Sauk Valley College for all you do for residents in a 9 county area around Dixon!
